I am writing to you from Guyana, where I am settling in after my move from Jamaica and getting used to a new place and a new type of work. My official title here is Lutheran Identity Professor and Pastoral Ministry Advisor, and the work concerns strengthening the systems of preparation for leaders in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guyana, especially lay leaders. In the attached newsletter, I am sharing with you initial experiences and photos, with gratitude for your ongoing support.
