We are a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation. The RIC program is for Lutheran communities that publicly welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
As a reconciling congregation, we understand “that racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, heterosexism, homophobia, and all the other artificial distinctions that seek to raise one group into privilege and preference over another, conspire together to diminish our world and church.” (from the ReconcilingWorks website)
In adopting an RIC approved statement of welcome, Trinity has committed to being a safe space for all people to explore and live out a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
