The theme for the ELCA Churchwide Assembly (CWA) this August is “Always Being Made New,” which follows the ELCA’s focus for their 25th anniversary: We are a church that is deeply rooted and always being made new. As such, congregations are being invited to submit short videos that showcase their ministries in living out this theme.
24 videos will be selected to play during transition times at CWA, and all videos will be posted on the ELCA YouTube channel.
Video length should be 60-90 seconds. The videos should show:
- what the ELCA theme, “Deeply rooted in faith, and always being made new” means to you and how you live that statement out in your work and ministry, or
- In a rapidly changing culture, where is God leading and calling us as the ELCA? or
- Where are we “showing up” as a church in your community?
DEADLINE–Videos should be completed and sent to Janice.Rizzo@elca.org by June 30 to be included!
