Do you know how to knit or crochet? Trinity’s prayer shawl ministry needs you! As we work our yarn, we pray for people who are ill or grieving or otherwise in need, interweaving the love of God into each stitch. The finished shawls are given to individuals on our prayer list to comfort them.
We can always use more hands to make shawls. There is a plastic bin in the upper narthex containing yarn, instructions, and even knitting needles if you need them! If you would like to take part but don’t know how to knit yet, we can arrange for you to get together with a more experienced person for some lessons. Or, if you would just like to donate some yarn, we can use that, too.
See Deana Hipke if you have any questions.
