Jean Berg and our synod’s Refugee Resettlement Team have expressed their gratitude for all of the wonderful household items that Trinity members donated to help refugee families.
Because we collected so much, Jean and her team have spent time at Trinity sorting the items into groups—there is a bedding section, towels, personal items, pots and pans, etc.—so they can access things as needed when new families arrive.
We will continue to store these household items as well as donated furniture on the stage in Fellowship Hall. Some items are already earmarked for a family that came to Madison on November 5.
If you are interested in continuing to help with this ongoing project, Jean has informed us that they can always use more blankets, mattress pads, and drinking glasses.
