Triangle Ministry Needs Your Help Leading Worship Service for This Special Community of God’s People
Praise the Lord with timbrel and dance – with loud clashing cymbals!
Join the Triangle Community Ministry (TCM) staff and Triangle residents in planning and holding a Sunday morning outdoor worship service on Sunday, September 20 on the commons area near Brittingham Place Apartments. We’ll need worship bulletins, a short sermon, and music/musicians (guitarists, keyboard/pianist, percussion, and percussion instruments for residents to play, such as tambourines, kazoos, etc.). A meal after worship would be a great incentive for people to gather. Bring your choir and hold a practice before the service so residents of the neighborhood can sing with you. Help residents with disabilities get to the service. Form a Hosanna Parade and weave through the community with banners and song. Service and meal can be held indoors in the Community Room of Brittingham Place if weather is inclement.
Contact Meg Nielsen, Outreach Development Manager, at churchladymeg@hotmail.com or (608) 838-8274 for more information on how your congregation might serve these neighbors.
