The Canopy Center has some exciting volunteer opportunities available:
Family Care Specialist provides supervised family interaction services to families in CHIPS (children in need of protection) cases.
CASA volunteers give abused and neglected children a voice in the court system by acting as advocates for their best interests and they serve as a stable, caring adults for these children in a difficult time.
Parent Advocates provide callers with the kind of support that allows for healthier family functioning and reduces the likelihood that a child will be verbally, emotionally or physically abused or neglected.
Childcare assistants create a safe, fun environment for infants and preschoolers and offer the positive role modeling and extra one-on-one attention that allows children to thrive.
