This Sunday, April 10, we will be celebrating worship in global style. Global services incorporate worship elements used by Christians around the world and include many musical styles, as well as songs that may be sung in languages other than English. More than an “a
lternative worship service” intended to appeal to a specific group, Global Worship reminds us that the church has a presence around the world, far beyond our building’s walls—and that the worship of God incarnate in Jesus Christ is what unites Christians everywhere.
On our global music Sundays, we are reminded that we have committed as a congregation to support our ELCA missionary in Hong Kong, Carolyn Schneider. Special envelopes for ELCA Global Mission Support are available from the ushers. Please give if you can. Thank you!
