God’s Work. Our Hands. (ELCA day of service)
Rally Sunday (Sunday School kickoff)
Because we have been blessed by God with all that we need, we share with all of God’s creation. On Rally Sunday, we engage one another’s minds in learning as Sunday School returns from summer break. Children will be led to class by their teachers right after the children’s sermon and return to their families in time for communion.
Following worship, we will gather downstairs to sort items needed for the Triangle Ministry, and assemble kindness kits for panhandlers. (See an usher for a list of items to donate.) We will also write cards of encouragement to include in the bags.
There will be a table set up with sample letters to send to our state/national legislators about topics of importance.
Trinity will provide sub sandwiches for lunch. Feel free to bring a side dish or dessert if you wish.
