Cookies for homebound members
Members of Trinity Lutheran Church are encouraged to help at the Stewardship Workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 15 starting at 9 a.m. We would again like to send some cookies to our shut-ins for Valentine’s Day, and need volunteers to bake (bring cookies to church and leave them in the kitchen). The cookies can be any variety—no nuts, please. We will also need help packing cookie boxes on the 10th. This year we are packing 27 cookie boxes, so even more donations and volunteers will be needed than in past years!
Personal Care Kits
The second half of the workshop will be devoted to assembling personal care kits for Lutheran World Relief. Each kit includes: 1 towel (27” x 52”), 2 wrapped bars of bath soap, 1 adult size toothbrush in original packaging, 1 nail clipper (file can be attached), and a wide-toothed comb. Any help would be appreciated. Donations can be placed in the basket in the narthex.
Election of officers
We will end the workshop with a short meeting for the election of the 2017 TLCW officers.
