2018 Day of Service

Words only GWOH - no dateSunday, September 9, 2018 is the ELCA National Day of Service

Trinity’s Service Project Continues Throughout September

New Heights Lutheran Church, and many of its members, experienced flood damage in the past weeks. To assist them, we are collecting items of particular need to be donated to the New Heights Food Pantry. See this week’s bulletin insert for more information on what we are collecting.

Hands-on Flood Relief Training and Service

Trinity also will be joining the efforts of Lutherans United After Disaster (LUAD) in serving our flooded neighbors. First, there will be a brief LUAD training in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 9. Anyone who wants to volunteer to do hands-on flood relief with LUAD must participate in this training.

Following the training, there is a family in Mazomanie who is working with LUAD that needs some help. If you are willing to make a little road trip to help pack and move some items from their flooded home to a storage facility in Arena, we can immediately put our training to good use!

Even if you cannot help this Sunday, you may still want to participate in the training, in order to be eligible for other flood relief efforts in the future.
