In addition, you may wish to gather these items for worship in your home:
- Paper palm, tree branch, or scarf: On Palm Sunday we recall the story of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, when the crowds waved palm branches and shouted “Hosanna!” Likewise, we will wave during our gathering hymn, “All Glory, Laud, and Honor.” Click here to download a paper palm to print. Alternatively, you could find a branch in your yard to wave. Or perhaps you can find a scarf or handkerchief.
- A candle: At the beginning of worship, we will light a candle. If you wish, you could light a candle in your home to designate this time and space as set apart for worship.
