We begin the season of Lent with Ash Wednesday on February 17. A video service will premiere on Facebook and YouTube at noon, and we will also host a Facebook watch party at 6 p.m.
For the imposition of ashes, an ancient symbol of repentance, you can use the temporary tattoo that was sent to Trinity members in the mail, or pick one up from the Little Free Library in front of the church. Alternatively, you may use a bit of soil from a potted plant, or plain water to trace the sign of the cross on your forehead at the appropriate time during the Ash Wednesday service.
