The Longest Night

Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 7:00 p.m.

The liturgy of the Longest Night, also known as “Blue Christmas,” is symbolically held on the Winter Solstice (December 21), the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere. This service creates a space for the harder realities of grief, doubt, pain, and sadness even as we wait in hope and longing for the coming of the Christ child.

In observance of the Longest Night this year, we will pray, light candles, and support one another in a worship service around a campfire in the Trinity parking lot. Please dress warmly and bring a lawn chair.
