Volunteer help needed for flood victims in Synod

Lutherans United Assisting after Disasters (LUAD) is an organization that responds to disasters within the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin (SCSW). Any congregation in the synod may call on LUAD for assistance after large or small disasters.

LUAD currently is making a difference in Boscobel, assisting households who reported damage as a result of flooding in the area. Volunteers are needed to join this effort. It looks like LUAD will have a role in the Boscobel area for another 4-6 weeks. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the SCSW website at: http://scsw-elca.org/luad.aspx. Monetary donations are welcome as well, and can be made online via credit card or by check made out to the SCSW and designated for “Boscobel Flood Relief.”
