Enjoy an afternoon of music outdoors at Music in the Prairie, Triangle Community Ministry’s celebration/fundraising event, on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Advent Lutheran/Madison Christian Community, 7118 Old Sauk Road. Entertainment begins at 3 p.m. with music by Madison’s New Horizons Swing Band. At 4:30 p.m. Chris Anderson and Jim O’Connor of Back2Back, take the stage. Chance Allies with jazz vocalist Tisha Brown and accompanist David Allen finish the evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with the music of Gershwin, Ellington and Armstrong. Guided tours of the prairie will be available and a Silent Auction will be held inside.

The event is free and open to the public, but a freewill offering will be taken to support the mission and ministry of Triangle Community Ministry (TCM), a non-profit organization serving the underserved population of the Triangle in downtown Madison for 38 years.  In the event of rain, all activities will be moved inside.
