What better time than the evening of the Epiphany to experience this ancient tale about a night of miracles, three Kings, a shining star, and a very special child?
Hearing that a special child is coming to make the world a better place, Befana begins a search which continues to this day during the holiday season. She doesn’t know whether the child she seeks is rich or poor, black or white, a boy or a girl.
“Anyone could be the one to make a better world,” Befana sings. “It could even be … you!”
This charming folk story is suitable for all ages and is presented as a gift to the community. A freewill offering for the actors and musicians is welcome, but not required.
